Do I need to qualify, validate or confirm my entry by completing another event?
No. However, we do suggest competing in a shorter distance triathlon event before race day. The Australian Half Ironman Series of races would be an ideal prelude.

Is there a waiting list for the races when they are sold out?
No, Ironman Western Australia does not have a waiting list.

Is there a field limit?
Yes. A maximum number of 1400 entries, including relays, will be accepted. Entries will close on the date when the entry limit is reached or on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, whichever is sooner.

Based on the very early sell-out of the Busselton Half Ironman and number of entry-inquires received over the last few weeks, it is likely that the race will sell-out at an early date. Please plan accordingly.
